PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA (October 24, 2022) – In the most current K-12 school district rankings released by Niche, PVPUSD was rated #1 in the South Bay and named the #4 school district in the Los Angeles Region, which includes all of LA County and Orange County. The district was also ranked #10 in California. Nationwide, PVPUSD ranked #76 out of 10,751 school districts surveyed. Additionally, all of PVPUSD’s elementary, intermediate, and comprehensive high schools received grades A or A+.  

Dr. Cherniss proudly stated, "These rankings are a validation of the quality of our schools and our commitment to ‘Putting Kids First’. Families move to PV for the schools and these accolades are a direct result of the academic success of our students, the dedication and skill of our teachers and support staff, the leadership of our principals and the tremendous support of our parents, our board of education, and our civic leaders."
